The Santo Sepulcro Chapel

Being built in 1994 on the adjoining site of the Bazán Hospital, and dedicated to the Cristo de la Buena Muerte (Christ of the Good Death) and Ntra. Señora de las Lágrimas (Our Lady of the Tears) of the brotherhood with the same name.

The throne, dating back to 1705 according to documents of that period, is one of the oldest in Marbella. Every year on Good Friday it is carried on the shoulders by a detachment of legionaries in a procession through the city’s streets.
